Neil’s diverse contributions and commitment to music education at various levels keep him in constant demand as an educator. He currently teaches piano in Canton, Michigan, where his studio is more than 20 strong. His students range in age from 6 through adult and study a wide range of music from classical to jazz as well as theory and composition. Neil also teaches instrumental music at Greenhills School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he directs ensembles at the middle school and high school levels.

Neil’s credentials include a BM in Music Education from West Virginia University and an MM in Improvisation and Jazz Studies from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE), the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA) and is certified to teach in both Michigan and West Virginia.
